I dont’ want to seem cocky or overinflated when I present the following video:

YouTube looking forward

As Rev King, I have a dream…, but it’s nothing to do with the civil rights (although I do dream of equality). It’s got to do with OR. Time ago I started a website, kProductivity.com, and a blog, FM Waves (this one), just for empowering my hobby (OR)…, I talked about my Way of Life:

"kProductivity is the alter ego for Francisco Marco-Serrano and his desires for improving the productivity of the world he lives in. Francisco Marco-Serrano has a degree on Economics…"

…but since I read the words of Carrie Beam, I started to be rather jealous (in a healthy way). Is there a possibility for a "Way of live" to become a "way of making a living"?. I’ve been spinning around like hell, working for others, working with the family, and/or lecturing…, what I said, a scramble… until now.

"Now is the time…", and took measures: K|P|K.

Money from Community!

It’s the Wikinomics era, ladies and gentlemen, not the sign of Aquarius. New business models have arosen to demolish the old style economy…, at least in theory. Someone could think it’s easy to establish a community, get it working, put some google ads and monetarise the toy (in the last year I’ve received invitations to join 3 or 4 social communities which later on I’ve never heard back again). This community related business is serious thing, nothing to take the mickey with as you will understand. Moreover, some firstly-it-was-thought-to-be-succesfulI business models (really?) are starting to pant (it has been suggested here); it seems Moore’s applies too to technology-related business models, not just the hardware these ones rely on!. So, will anyone be able to monetarise the community or the Bazaar will prove to be uncontrollable and we will move towards a "donation economy" as a business model? (sorry, I’m again changing thoughts without 2-weeks notice).

Web II.0

Yesterday something made me realise my presence in the web is just trivial and very recent since my first experience was Altavista in 1995; wow, hypertextuality was really amazing to me… . I didn’t realise that was Web 1.0, neither I found out when I started to participate in social web interaction that was Web 2.0; for sure, I’ll never think when searching using semantic tools that’ll be Web 3.0. Is it possible that our brains don’t cope with marketing terms to that extent?.
